Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PdfEditly (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
PdfEditly provides free, browser-based tools to edit, merge, split, and compress PDF files. All processing happens locally in your browser; we do not receive or store your files.
Acceptable use
- You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and with files you have the right to process.
- You agree not to use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate privacy, or process unlawful content.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service or its infrastructure.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documents you process. Because files are handled entirely on your device, you are solely responsible for keeping backups of your originals and for the output you generate.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be suitable for every use case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PdfEditly and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and update these terms, at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
